Windsor 5/21

The backs of the royal guards entering Windsor Castle. We had JUST driven up and parked with the thought of poking around the town for an hour before our flight when we suddenly found ourselves in a parade of royal guards all playing trumpets and marching in step. Fresh out of camera batteries, I ran ahead of the royal guards (who were surely thinking "daft woman, please chill") looking for a souvenir shop to purchase more. One was found, and we just caught the back of the guards entering the castle.

Good news, though. The lady at the shop told us the guards would return for another parade in a half hour -- well, a different set of guards, who were getting off work -- and I'd get my picture. Chris commented if only all of us could march in a parade, playing pomp-filled tunes, to and from the office.
